Summer's Birthday Party

On February 25th Summer turned 1! We had a little party with a couple of families and my parents were able to come for a quick visit.

It is about impossible to get a picture of this girl and be able to see her face...

She really didn't do much but take some of the frosting off and ate that and then started putting her foot in it. Once we got her clothes of she didn't get that messy.

It was a simple little party with just a few guests. I can't believe she is one. We really love her!

Thanksgiving

A little behind but here ar some pics from Thanksgiving. Bryce's parents came out and then my sister and her husband decided to come out kind of last minute. It was great to have them all here. Here is part of the table, the kids helped set that:)

Bryce took on the turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing that was like half of the meal. He did good though. Here is Bryce and Matt with the finished bird.

Thanks for coming and for all the help in preparing and cooking the meal. It was a busy weekend with Thanksgiving, zoo lights, a movie, Brooklyn's birthday party, and all the wrestling and playing around. We love visitors!

9 Months

My baby is 9 months now, wow! I had to post a picture.

- She still is army crawling.

-Does not sleep through the night (but currently has ear infections and teething so that doesn't help)
- Is so happy
- Mellow for the most part

- Her brother and sisters's love to "help" with her

Arizona

My parents birthday was the beginning of the month and my dad was turning 60! My mom planned a surprise bash for him. I got to getaway with just Summer for the weekend to enjoy the festivities. Here is the immediate family minus Amy that came down.

It was a great weekend and nice to have a little break from all the kids. Happy birthday mom & dad.

1st Day

Brooklyn started Whee Preschool Thurs. Sept. 1. This is her second year at Whee. This year she is in the Jr. Kindergarten class and goes four days a week in the afternoons. She is excited to be going back to school.

She wouldn't smile or really even look at me. She just sat down and started playing. She had been waiting all morning though to go. Hopefully things will be better Tuesday.

Taylor and our twin neighbor girls. He has been walking to and from school with them starting the second week. That has been a help to me. He spends a lot of time playing with the neighbor kids.

The 2nd grader! He started August 22! He loves it so far, let's hope he keeps his enthusiasm about wanting to go everyday.

6 Months

Well Summer hit six months. Time really flys. So here she is each month so far. (Really doing this for me and my rememberance).

Yes her hair is out of control and looks like Medusa in this picture. For me it is so hard to get a good one of babies, especially when they can't sit by themselves.

- sleeps 8 hours before I have to feed her

- can sit for about 30 seconds on own

- when out with all four of my kids she is so good and just hangs out in her carseat. Usually don't hear from her til we get home

10 Years!

Wow! I can't believe it has been ten years since yesterday that Bryce and I have been married! It has been a great ten years so far and many more to come. I love you and Happy
Anniversary Bryce!

We got married so long ago that I don't even have my pictures on my computer, I need to scan them in. Thanks to my mother in law I have a couple. Isn't that top one great? (not really) It looks so old. Lol.

We didn't do anything for it yesterday since church and meetings but hopefully this weekend! Cheers to ten years, and forever to come:)
